There is so much to explore here no matter who you are.
Each year, I choose a word for the year to focus on. These words are often chosen by some challenge I’ve faced or inspired by listening or reading something. This year’s word I first heard at a conference I was attending with the ladies from my Bible Study. Then it started coming up in articles I was reading and even a podcast I was listening to.
This year my one little word is: ALIGN. Webster defines align as: to be in or come into precise adjustment or correct relative position. I’ve reflected on how I can apply this personally and in my business. So I’m guessing you are wondering, what does it mean for DHP? Well, here is the concise version…
My goal this year is to align my business to make sure that it allows me balance and growth in my life both personally and professionally. In the first few years of seriously growing a small business, it is easy to steer off course attempting to learn all you need to in order to be successful, what the industry expects from its members and throwing yourself into the hustle 200%. This creates challenges in one’s personal life with balance, impostor syndrome, trying any opportunity that arises, etc.
My hope is that by focusing on alignment is that I will be able to bring you more opportunities to capture the fleeting moments in your family’s life, continually improve the DHP Client Experience and grow the business in a way that is most beneficial to my family, community and my clients.
Have you ever chosen one little word to focus on for the year? If so, I’d love to hear it!
