There is so much to explore here no matter who you are.
Two-thirds of this trio has been in front of my lens before so when I got to see them with their cousin, it only took a little bit of warming up. Their mom reached out to see if I would do a children’s photography session and as a family and newborn photographer with a background in teaching and childcare, I jumped at the chance to do this! We met up at Hurley Gardens in Wheaton for a spring mini session to capture some professional photos for their grandma as a Mother’s Day present.
We were done within 10 minutes, which for having three littles to wrangle with was a record especially since I knew it hadn’t been the smoothest day for the kiddos (is it ever?!). If you have ever tried to take just one photo of three children cooperating, you know how much of a victory this was. This left us a few minutes to get some extra fun and silly shots. One little lady also decided she wanted to be a statue reading a book!
While they live many, many miles apart, it’s evident that anytime this trio does get together, there’s tons of fun to be had and memories to be made! I also have a hunch I’ll be seeing them again soon…we had too much fun to stop there. 😉
I’m thinking that these ‘kids only’ session might be a thing now…what do you think?
Thank you for inviting me to capture these memories for your families and for grandma!
Let’s plan a session for your kiddos…and we can add in their friends or cousins too!
