There is so much to explore here no matter who you are.
I love being a Lisle Newborn Photographer! This session was no different! We had a huge snowstorm the night before the session so the ground was covered in beautiful, reflective white snow. The snow helped push natural light in the windows as it was quite overcast still.

I love the laid back, go with the flow nature of this family. They were up for whatever ideas I had and we rolled with what the day held.

Big sister was a little apprehensive about someone new in her home but we became friends by the end! This is very common behavior of young children who have newborn siblings. It’s not something that bothers me or even gets me flustered and let’s be honest….this is real life right here!
Lifestyle sessions in your home are a wonderful option whether you are welcoming a new baby or just want to be enjoy the space you have. During our planning phase, we’ll decide what spaces you want to use. If you want to use your front porch or backyard, we’ll want to schedule a time that works lighting wise. Indoors, we will also schedule around lighting but it usually allows us a bit more flexibility in timing.
The type of space you want to use is going to need ample natural light but not direct sunlight. Slightly overcast days are the best for indoors because it softens the light just a bit. North facing windows/doors are most often the ideal spots because you never have direct sunlight streaming in.
A warm and safe home is a privilege that I think many of us take for granted (myself included). You don’t need to have a Pinterest perfect home in order to do an in-home session, just a willingness to simplify, tidy and clean a bit.

If you are looking for a newborn photographer that captures life as it is, then I’d love to be your photographer.
