There is so much to explore here no matter who you are.
As a family photographer, it’s a joy to see couples I know growing their family and then capturing their joy through my lens! This trio has been taking life as an adventure and it’s so fun to see them all grow. One of my favorite spots is Greene Valley Forest Preserve and Barn (which requires a permit and there are specific rules for sessions on the property). It has a variety of backdrops and never disappoints!
We decided to do an early morning session (a rarity for me!) and boy am I glad we did. The humidity at 7:30 am was already climbing and it ended up well over 90*F by the end of the day.
Mom had such a great perspective when we were in the planning phase of her session. She said, “I just want to capture who he is now.” It didn’t matter if he didn’t smile, was drooling or gave us a little smirky eye…all of which he did
This little guys blue eyes, blue shirt and blue blanket have me swooning!
If these baby toes don’t give you a little baby fever, I don’t know what will!
When we document your current season of life, it might include your child’s favorite monster truck or lovie or they might be wanting to dance and twirl which are all things you’ll want to remember. You may also want to include a family heirloom or special blankie.
This yellow blanket holds a lot of value as his great grandma made it for him and passed just days before our session together.
It’s so important to come to your session relaxed and flexible…ready to document this season of life authentically!
Thank you to the T Family for trusting me to document this special time. Cherish every moment with your little guy because babies don’t keep! Looking forward to our next session together!
