Have you been in your home enough in the last 18 months to start to think about changing your decor or taking on a home improvement project? Today, I’m excited to introduce Haylie from HaylieRead Design, a local interior design firm.

She is a local interior designer helping families like yours and mine fall in love with their home all over again by helping homeowners create their dream home through furniture, decor and construction management.

The motto of HaylieRead Design is “to always go beyond the pretty picture, ensuring the space not only looks beautiful but is also functional and thought through”.

Haylie started HaylieRead Design because she was looking for ways to connect with clients on a deeper level. Prior to starting her business, she worked at large architectural design firms and designed projects for large developers. The projects were large and exciting, but at the end of the day, the owners were most concerned about project completion deadlines.

Her approach with her clients now is the complete opposite and is personalized for each family. Clients live and breathe and make memories in these spaces and are so grateful for the HaylieRead Design team helping them make their dreams a reality!

When she isn’t running her business, she loves cooking during our Midwest winters and gardening in the summer. She also is partial to sailing out of Burnham Harbor. (Doesn’t that sounds delightful?!)

HaylieRead Design is lucky to have Lea on staff to help with all phases of design, from selecting finishes and furniture to drawing construction drawings, and answering contractor questions.

Her official role is Interior Design Assistant as she has her degree from Interior Design from Iowa State and is working towards getting her license. She is Haylie’s right hand lady and is part of the amazing team! When she isn’t assisting Haylie, she enjoys yoga, reading and playing with her furry dog, Turbo!

This dynamic duo was such a blast to work with when I went over to take photos of Haylie’s latest (and probably most exciting project yet), the nursery for her sweet little babe arriving any day!
