Chicago wedding photos are always at the mercy of mother nature. While we faced a lot of different challenges, the images speak for themselves and show the love between these two. These two braved the elements and ended up with some epic wedding photos for these two and their family to cherish for life.

We started out at the Chicago Cultural Center because of the rain. This is truly a hidden gem in Chicago that even as people who have grown up locally, we hadn’t even visited. If you are ever looking for free things to do in Chicago, this should be on your list. I love the indoor vibe that the photos provided even though the outside would have been a great spot for city wedding photos in Chicago.

After attempting to wait out the rain, we headed to the Lyric Opera House for some outdoor covered portraits and upon arriving, the sky cleared and the sun decided to peek out for us just a little bit!

Their reception was held at the Morgan Arts Complex which was a modern with a rustic twist art gallery type space with plenty of options for seating and dancing.
