There is so much to explore here no matter who you are.
Giving Tuesday was created to “kick off” the giving season. It is important as someone who has been blessed with ample resources to give back even though there are always things in my life and business that I could be using my money for.
Here are a few local organizations you may consider giving back to:
This foundation was created after they lost their daughter, Hallie, and discovered that her mom had a very rare and aggressive form of cervical cancer. You can help by donating money or by buying socks and sending those to them. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
FSS helps victims of domestic abuse and helps them regain independence. You may donate or volunteer. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
See below for some national and global organizations you can support!
Africa New Life-I have been fortunate enough to travel with this organization, as has my husband, to see firsthand the work they are doing in Rwanda to help children and families gain independence and freedom after the genocide Rwanda experienced in the 90’s. Through child sponsorship, these families are starting new and growing! You can donate one time to a variety of projects or through child sponsorship. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
Feed My Starving Children-FMSC provides meals for people in impoverished countries. You can donate online or volunteer at a local packing center or mobile pack. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
Play 60-Their mission is to empower the next generation to be physically active and healthy. Found out more on their website. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
Many of these organizations are receiving matching grants on this #givingtuesday so it can double or triple the impact of your donation!
